Trinity County students celebrated Red Ribbon Week by sharing creative, drug-free messages through the PATH coalition’s annual poster contest.

The community is invited to Healthy Paths, Stronger Futures, a community event to support youth wellness. 📅 Thursday, September 18, 2025🕒 5:30 – 7:30 PM📍 Veteran’s Hall, Weaverville. This community gathering will bring parents, educators, youth, and local leaders together to discuss the challenges our young people face and how we can work together to support healthier choices.

Red Ribbon Week 2020 took place October 23rd through the 31st. PATH (Partnership in Action for Trinity Health) members sponsored a poster contest and brought drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention lessons into local middle-school classrooms throughout Trinity County. We collected so much food! Thank you! Thank you to everyone who donated food and helped make the PATH food drive, Trinity Food Share, a success. PATH received a bounty of donations, filling up over a dozen large totes. The donated food has been divided up and distributed to food pantries in Weaverville, Douglas City, Lewiston, Hayfork, and Hyampom. Trinity County schools have joined the national Red Ribbon Week campaign to unite and take a visible stand against drugs.
